Bake someone happy

Lemon cake and Madeleines for today. It lesson 11 already wow! Time flies.

Kinda weird. Feels like I've been here for a while but only 1 month. On the other hand, feels like yesterday just arrived here with all the stuffs happened. What an experience! Will definitely bring a smile on my face later. Ah really? Already? I'm just getting started and already thinking about ending? hahaha Why such a rush ending the most wonderful time of my life?

I'm getting familiar to work in the kitchen. Still forgetting some stuffs tho. Should be more focus from now on no more mercy.

 

Studying the French terms. Hard to remember because can't even pronounce. I can't even pronounce Cordon Bleu properly people always got confused when they ask where I'm studying. My accent is that bad? :(

Anyway, did good today with the cakes. The Lemon cake didn't rise as much as my friends' but I still got the crack on top. The lemon julienne was good too. The madeleine almost perfect I think? hahaha. Time management was great too. Quite a good day until I was kinda lost when trying to go to Canadian tire and rewarding myself from intense yoga with Chinese dimsum. Nooooo I'm getting fat and broke. Lucky I met a nice guy helping me ask someone about the direction. Really. He was so nice! Why didn't I ask his name eh
